Hola! I am so excited to be joining the Ebinport family this school year and having the opportunity to help your child to learn and grow. Here is a little bio to help you get to know me.
I am first generation American, as both of my parents immigrated from Cuba. I grew up in Miami, FL, which conveniently has been known as "Little Havana" and learned both Spanish and English simultaneously.
My teaching experience started in Miami, FL where I taught pre- kindergarten for three years. While I was there, I received my Masters in School Psychology and met my husband. Life then took us to the West Coast of Florida where I completed an internship as a School Psychologist. The following three years I made a professional decision to discontinue my career as a School Psychologist and go back into the classroom (I missed the kids!), where I taught kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade.
Now life is taking us to Rock Hill where my husband has accepted a professorship at Winthrop University and we couldn't be happier to start this new chapter of our lives. One of the things we will miss the most when we leave Florida is the diving, however, I have a feeling the mountains will bring us just as much excitement! I look forward to meeting your children this school year.
Sincerely,
Sra. Gonzalez
